Kent was a unique, self-taught pop artist who showed prints with major 2nd generation New York artists at the Whitney in 1964, i.e. Warhol, Guston, Kelly, et al. Print made from hand carved slate and printed on fabric. The print protested and predated the lunar landing which occurred in 1969. This group was our Joint Chiefs of Staff in 1964 and General Curtis Lemay is the second one from the left.
