Kent was a unique, self-taught pop artist who showed prints with major 2nd generation New York artists at the Whitney in 1964, i.e. Warhol, Guston, Kelly, et al. Print made from hand carved slate and printed on fabric. The print protested and predated the lunar landing which occurred in 1969.
