George Gittoes is a major Australian artist, photographer, and filmmaker whose work is influenced by the world’s most notorious war zones, which he has documented first hand. He was awarded the Sydney Peace prize, and has since been nominated for the Nobel peace prize. His work has been exhibited in museums and galleries around the world.
