Untitled Abstract, Circa 1950
Artist: Joseph Meert/Jackson Pollock (Attributed)

Oil on canvas, 37 x 72.5 inches

Joseph Meert and Jackson Pollack were close friends.  It is documented that Pollock introduced Meert to his wife, artist Margaret Mullin and even lived with them for a time.  It is also documented that Joseph and Jackson painted together.  The Meerts were also 2 of the rare visitors to the Long Island house where the reclusive Pollack and his wife, artist, Lee Krasner lived.
