Clendenin was a printmaker and painter who lived in New York City and Provincetown, Massachusetts. She studied at Oxford University and The Royal Academy in London. She also studied at the Sorbonne, Paris and The Banff Academy in Canada. Eve Clendenin was a member of the American Abstract Artists’ group. Her mentors include Ralph Pirson and Hans Hoffman.
