Walker attended The Art Institute of Chicago. Walker is listed in Cedarholm Dictionary of Afro-American Artists.  Johnson Publishing in Chicago published a text titled “Little Boy, Little Girl”.  These are the original drawings for the publication. He was influenced by Norman Rockwell. He was one of the most popular artist at The South Side Community Art Center. He was a graphic artist for Walgreens until retirement.
