Dahn studied painting, printmaking and graphic design, receiving a BFA degree from Miami University and an MFA degree from Yale University.He taught graphic design at the University of Washington from 1965 to 1997. Â He studied and worked with Joseph Albers at Yale. Â Dick and his wife, Barbara, also an artist, spend six months in Seattle and six months a year in Mexico.
