Brought up surrounded by her family collection of Post Impressionist Art, Gold became interested in painting at an early age. Lois was educated at Boston University and has an M.A. from Columbia. She also studied at the National Academy of Design and The Art Students’ League. Gold has been painting for more than thirty years, exploring just about every medium. Her work has been exhibited and published worldwide. Before changing to acrylic, Gold was known for her chalk pastel paintings.
