Bill Hutson

Listed Contemporary artist. During the past thirty years, solo exhibitions of work Hutson completed have been seen in more than 20 museums and galleries, and in over 50 group exhibitions. Art made by Bill Hutson—abstract paintings and painted objects—is in private and several public collections including: The Schomburg Center For Research in Black Culture, The Brandywine Graphic Workshop, The Arco Collection, The Columbus Museum of Art, The Studio Museum in Harlem, The James E. Lewis Museum, The Newark Museum, The Boysmana-Van Beuningen Museum, The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and The National Museum of Southern Australia.

Hutson has received awards including the Cassandra Foundation Award and a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship among others.
