Founder and President of Aaron Galleries, Patrick L. Albano was born in Crystal City, Missouri in 1947.
Mr. Albano’s art business began with dealing antiques in a small gallery space located in St. Louis, MO. Always an avid reader and researcher, Patrick, took interest in the current art market and expanded his antique business into fine art. He participated in numerous art fairs across the country and his business expanded. Aaron Galleries then relocated to Michigan Avenue and Oak Street in Chicago of 1989. As his business was taking root in Chicago, Aaron Galleries was averaging fourteen major art fairs per year and Patrick was earning his place as a one of the top art dealers in the United States. Since the year 2000, Aaron Galleries has specialized in African American art. We are committed to exhibiting the art of African American masters as well as a select group of emerging artists. Aaron Galleries is now located in a large gallery space in Glenview, Illinois at 1031 Waukegan Road. This is where you’ll find Patrick the owner; Lynne Schillaci, Director and Sarah Gray, Gallerist today. We all look forward to meeting and sharing our love for art with you.
